Increase in enquiries for MAC 5.5T Machinery Carriers in response to stricter legislation

MAC Trailers has seen a significant increase in enquiries for their 5.5T Machinery Carriers following a clamp down in the UK and Irish legislation surrounding the transportation of small machinery. Many firms – particularly those in the utilities sector - who previously transported their equipment with smaller and lighter trailers are now turning to MAC trailers as their chosen trailer supplier.

Specifically designed for the transportation of small plant, the MAC 5.5T Machinery Carrier is a compact and versatile trailer capable of carrying 5.5T gross. The trailer is 4.2m long x 2.5m wide, making it ideal for the transportation of most types of mini digger and small equipment without the need for a large and cumbersome trailer.

The trailers come with high specification as standard and are fully equipped with ADR axles, air brakes with EBS, heavy duty mudguards, DOE approved lights, bucket stand, adjustable towing eye and spring assisted ramps as standard.
