MAC Forestry Trailers

MAC Trailers manufacture a range of agricultural forestry trailers for the efficient and safe transportation of logs, timber and forestry machinery. The trailers in the range include the MAC Forest Trailer and the MAC Log Trailer.
The MAC Forest Trailer is used specifically for the transportation of forestry forwarder machines and other types of heavy forestry plant. Practicality was a key consideration when designing these trailers and therefore they were developed with a low ground pressure for easy loading and unloading of machinery.
Proving a popular choice in the European market, MAC Trailers have recently delivered a MAC Forest Trailer to a distributor based in Sweden with the following specification: 10m in length, ADR 8stud axles, sprung ramps at front and back, sprung drawbar, front and rear marker lights, 27T gross.
The MAC Forestry Trailer range also includes the MAC Log Trailer, which is used for the safe and efficient transportation of logs over all types of terrain. These lightweight trailers have a carrying capacity of 18tons. Operating efficiencies can be optimised by pulling two of these trailers simultaneously to provide a combined payload of 36tons.
